Press Release: Pressley Ridge Vice President Appointed to Health Care Advisory Board
PITTSBURGH - Arthur Ring, vice president of compliance, performance improvement and government relations was recently appointed to the newly formed Health Care Advisory Board by Congressman Jason Altmire. The primary responsibility of the board is to provide consultation to Congressman Altmire about a wide range of health care issues facing western Pennsylvania and the nation.
Mr. Rings’ extensive national expertise in the health care industry and governmental issues will help generate initiatives to move this region forward, particularly mental health care services affecting our youth.
“I am honored to be part of this group that represents a broad spectrum of the local health care community,” stated Ring. “It’s a great opportunity for Pressley Ridge to speak on how to best address the behavioral health needs of western Pennsylvania children and families.”
In addition to leading Pressley Ridges’ performance improvement, Mr. Ring is a peer reviewer and serves on the standards advisory council for the Council on Accreditation and is a member of the National Association for Children’s Behavioral Health. He is also on the board of the National Network for Social Work Managers and is a member of the Society of Certified Social Workers. Mr. Ring has been a leader in health care organizations for more than 35 years and was a group manager for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
A Somerville, New Jersey native, Ring lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Carole.
