Program Overview

Grant GardensLocated in Ona, West Virginia (10 miles outside of Huntington), Grant Garden is a Level II & Level III residential only facility for both males and females.

Who Do We Serve?

To become a resident, youths must either meet Level II or Level III criteria, be between the ages of 13-17, be in legal custody of state, have current DSM-IV diagnosis, have an I.Q. of 70 or higher, have a history of challenging behaviors (Level II) or failed placements (Level III), and have a history of challenging behaviors and unable to maintain in the community. The average length of stay for program residents (in both Level II and III) is 6-9 months.

The Level II facility serves:

  • One group of ten males (ages 13-17)
  • One group of ten females (ages 13-17)

The Level III facility serves:

  • One group of ten males (ages 13-17)
  • One group of ten females (ages 13-17)

Referrals can be made by contacting Intake Coordinator, Melanie St. Clair, at (800) 457-7933. Upon receipt of referral information admissions decisions are made after consulting program staff, viewing assessments from referral source, and use of internal screening processes.

When it becomes necessary for a youth to be placed outside of his/her home, Pressley Ridge offers treatment foster care service. A professional parent is a highly trained treatment foster parent who provides care for a youth in his/her home. Please attend one of our monthly walk-in information sessions that is held every 3rd Monday at 4pm at 141 E. Market Street, York, PA 17401.
